Gilfach is the perfect base to enjoy
beautiful outdoors

Ceredigion's 60 miles section probably has the most varied landscape and terrain of the 870 mile lenght of the Welsh coast Path. A half hour stroll on the coastal path from New Quay takes you to the lookout at Birds Rock. This is the perfect location to observe dolphins and porpoises as well as viewing the most important seabird breeding area in the county. Alternatively the Cambrian MountainNational Park offers miles of trails through this wild and dramatically empty landscape full of lonely peaks and undiscovered valleys.
